The grove remembers every beginning.

A small egg rests beneath a leaf. A caterpillar grows along the branches, shedding skins that no longer fit. Within a cocoon, hidden change prepares the way for wings. The adult moth emerges, takes flight, and lives her brief season. New lives carry the story onward.

The Moon offers another rhythm: light gathering, reaching fullness, and drawing inward again. We bring these inspirations together in five ritual chapters for our own lives. Egg begins. Instar grows. Eclose emerges. Return releases. Cocoon rests.

These chapters follow our human experience of change. Cocoon, at the end of the sequence, is our return to the image of shelter before a new intention forms. The moth completes her life; we carry what we have learned into another beginning.

Follow the Moon, or follow the season you are living. In our practice, working with a matching lunar phase heightens the intention by inviting that phase’s particular energy: beginning, growth, illumination, release, or rest. Lunar timing is an invitation, never a requirement.

In this collection, the dark moon is the quiet closing window around the final waning days before the New Moon. Cocoon works with its inward energy for rest and reflection; Egg marks the intention that follows. You can enter this shelter whenever you need it, whatever the sky is doing.

Five candles. Five doorways into the grove.

Each candle’s insert holds a QR code and Grove Key for its own ritual chapter, with a short practice, deeper options, tarot reflections, and journal prompts. Keep the insert as your way back after planting the label band.

Each pillar is approximately 9 oz, made with a beeswax-and-coconut wax blend, with an estimated 30–35-hour burn time. Every chapter has its own scent, botanicals, stones, and plantable label band.
